Couple tries to find missing daughter in black comedy “Where is Wanda?”

Sept. 12 (UPI) – Apple TV is promoting a new black comedy series that shows the lengths a couple will go to find their missing teenage daughter.

Where is Wanda? with Heike Makatsch (Indeed… Love) as Carlotta Klatt and Axel Stein as her husband Dedo.

“My little girl. I can't lose her,” Carlotta says in the trailer. “We're going to search all the houses in this zone until we find her.”

Carlotta and Dedo stock up on surveillance equipment after the police cannot find the missing teenager, played by Lea Drinda.

“They disguise themselves as electric company employees, bug their neighborhood and then half the suburb, and discover that behind closed doors none of their neighbors are who they say they are,” an official synopsis reads.

Also starring are Leo Simon, David Striesow and Joachim Król, Nikeata Thompson, Palina Rojinski, Kostja Ullmann and Harriet Herbig-Matten.

The series starts with two episodes that premiere on October 2nd. The streamer will then release the remaining six episodes weekly.
