JANE'S ADDICTION concert ends abruptly after PERRY FARRELL attacks DAVE NAVARRO and is pushed off the stage by the crew

Perry Farrell attacked David Navarro while JANES LOOKING FOR's concert tonight (Friday, September 13th) at the Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston, Massachusetts.

The incident occurred late in JANES LOOKING FOR's set when the band finished the song “Ocean size”. Farrellwho reportedly spent most of the night mumbling lyrics, appeared to be drunk or high, aggressively bumped his shoulders with Navarro and got into the guitarist's face and insulted him, as a confused Dave looked at him and asked what was wrong. Navarro finally stopped playing and raised his hand Farrell's chest. Then the singer seemed to throw a punch Navarro before he was held back by a roadie and JANES LOOKING FOR Bassist Eric Avery. He tried his best to Perry with a bear hug together with members of JANES LOOKING FOR's road workers who surrounded Farrell and forced the singer off the stage.

After Farrell was physically removed from the stage, the rest JANES LOOKING FOR — including drummer Stephen Perkinswho was celebrating his 57th birthday – stepped forward to hug each other and show their appreciation to the crowd.

This was not a good week for Farrellwho was reportedly in poor shape when JANES LOOKING FORThe classic lineup played at the Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City on Tuesday (September 10), but he managed to get everyone together for Wednesday's concert at the same venue.

“Ladies and gentlemen, I have to be honest with you. There is something wrong with my voice,” Farrell he confessed to the crowd on Tuesday, before adding: “I suddenly can't get the notes out anymore.” The next day Avery Posted in Instagram: “I'm looking forward to performing again tonight at this spectacular venue on the roof. I'm optimistic that we will be better.”

The show in Boston was part of JANES LOOKING FOR's co-headlining tour with LOVE & ROCKETSThere are still 15 performances on the program.

The trip is scheduled to end on October 16 at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles.
