Martha Plimpton and Corey Feldman deny rumors about “The Goonies 2”

Although The Goonies never die, there are few other words to describe the hopes for a possible sequel.

Corey Feldman and Martha Plimpton, who starred together in Steven Spielberg’s The Goonies (1985) recently responded to reports that a sequel to the popular film was in the works and that the original cast was expected to return.

The Goonies follows a group of Oregon kids who follow an old pirate map they find in their attic in hopes of finding hidden treasure while developers try to destroy their homes.
