Confirmed Liverpool line-up against Forest: Again unchanged, still no Chiesa – Liverpool FC

The international break is finally over and we're heading straight back to Premier League action at Anfield. Arne Slot is once again relying on consistency in his starting eleven.

At half-time, Liverpool fielded 19 first-team players from each nation, ten of whom played the maximum number of minutes available to them.

After seven games in 22 days, there were questions about how Slot would lead his team – starting against Nottingham Forest.

There was never any doubt that Alisson would start in goal, and he sits behind Trent Alexander Arnold, Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk And Andy Robertson.

In midfield Ryan Gravenberch wants to continue its brilliant start into the 2024/25 season, alongside Alexis MacAllister And Dominik Szoboszlai.

Above, Mohammed Salah is on his way to scoring in his fourth consecutive game at the start of the season. Diogo Jota And Luis Diaz.

With Harvey Elliott the only player out due to injury, Slot has had to make some decisions regarding his bench and has reinstated Curtis Jones, but Federico Chiesa is still out.

Liverpool: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister; Salah, Diaz, Jota

Substitute: Kelleher, Gomez, Quansah, Bradley, Tsimikas, Endo, Jones, Gakpo, Nunez

Liverpool vs. Forest – The Stats

Slot could become the first Liverpool manager ever to win his first four league games without conceding a single goal.
