NASCAR Driver Averages, Stats: Hendrick Motorsports at Watkins Glen

CONCORD, NC – Recently, Hendrick Motorsports has dominated NASCAR Cup Series racing at Watkins Glen International with an iron fist.

The organization will enter Sunday's race, which will serve as the second of the Round of 16 in the Cup Series playoffs, after winning five consecutive events on the 2.45-mile road course. William Byron drove to victory lane with ease last year, Chase Elliott won two straight events in 2018 and 2019 and Kyle Larson managed his own second straight win in 2021 and 2022. There was no race at Watkins Glen in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

All four drivers in the Hendrick Motorsports stable – Larson, Elliott, Byron and Alex Bowman – have amassed plenty of statistics to back up their individual road course abilities, including three road course wins this season, one each by Byron (COTA), Larson (Sonoma) and Bowman (Chicago Street Course).
