Even though the sky fell apart at Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday night and Auburn's defense fell apart, the Auburn Tigers turned things around in Week 3 against the New Mexico Lobos.

After suffering one of the worst losses of the Hugh Freeze era in week two against Cal, the Tigers bounced back with a convincing, if at times nerve-wracking, 45-19 victory over Mountain West foe New Mexico. Auburn's offense was revitalized by freshman quarterback Hank Brown's first career start. Although the Nashville, Tennessee native looked overwhelmed at times, Brown ultimately remained calm, cool and collected, posting 235 passing yards and 4 touchdowns.

Although the Tigers won the football game, Auburn's defense wasn't at its best, but Eugene Asante and his team were good enough to hold off a very solid Lobos offense led by star quarterback Devin Dampier. The Auburn family was pleased with Hank Brown's performance, but not thrilled with the defensive effort. The conversation on X (formerly Twitter) almost makes you think the Tigers lost. Here's a look at the best social media reactions to Auburn's win over New Mexico on Saturday.

David Tyree is wanted…

The savior?

Not so great, Ronald!

That seems a bit harsh

Everyone is a critic

Lots of laundry in the field

The life of an Auburn Tiger

One can always dream…

Glass half empty

Why not, Hank?

Good teams win, great teams cover

The two ends of the sword
