For fans of a certain Sylvester Stallone TV series, however, this fall will include another important Sunday staple: watching a new episode of Tulsa King, which finally returns with its second season two years after the debut of the first season.

From producer Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown, etc.) and showrunner Terence Winter (Boardwalk Empire), Tulsa King was a huge success in its first season and combined comedy and traditional mafia drama into a show that was ultimately a lot of fun. Long-time mafioso Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone) reappears in the present after 25 years behind bars, Tulsa King Plus, he manages to incorporate family drama, the marijuana dispensary business, and a whole host of funny supporting characters. It's entertaining and easy to watch – perfect for the Sunday before football.

Almost the entire cast from Season 1 returns – Stallone is joined by Andrea Savage, Martin Starr and Garrett Hedlund, among others – but now we have the chance to see some more terrifying villains as well. That means characters played by Taylor Sheridan's old friend Neal McDonough (who played a villain in Yellowstone) and action icon Frank Grillo. It should be fun – and an exciting challenge for Stallone's Dwight.
