Here's how to watch and stream week two of the 2024-2025 NFL season live and free online without cable: Fox, CBS, NBC, ESPN

The Kansas City Chiefs narrowly missed a win last week, but they return to Arrowhead on Sunday and that means the Bengals will face an uphill battle to earn their first win of the season.

The 2024 season has just begun, but some things are already becoming clear. The Chiefs have a mission. And quarterbacks are still at risk. Miami's Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion in Thursday night's game, the third of his career.

So as we get back into the Sunday routine of avoiding chores and yelling at the TV, we should remember that there's more than one way to catch the action. Here's how to do it.

How can I watch NFL games for free even if I'm not in my market?

The best way to watch all kinds of network programs on a big screen for free is with a good HD antenna. To make sure you get the most reliable signal, test the antenna in several places in your home.

Can I stream the 2024 NFL games live online if I don’t have a cable subscription?

Yes – and you have several options.

Outstanding+

CBS's streaming service offers a one-week free trial, after which there's a monthly fee of $8 or $13. (A yearly subscription is currently just $30.)

peacock

NBC's streaming service gives you access to multiple games, including all upcoming Sunday night games. The monthly fee is $8 or $14 — and the service recently eliminated its free trial. (The free version of Peacock doesn't include live sports.)

Disney+

The Disney bundle with Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ no longer has a free trial, so you'll have to pay $17 per month for all three combined (or $30 per month without ads on Hulu).

If live TV is included in the package, the price increases to $77 per month ($90 without ads).

Hulu with Live TV

The free trial of this service lasts three days. After that, it costs $77 per month.

YouTubeTV

After a free trial, you can expect to pay monthly fees of $73.

Sling TV

Dish Network's Sling Orange plan costs $40 per month. The more comprehensive Blue plan increases the cost to $55 per month. Unfortunately, the seven-day free trial has been eliminated.

DirecTV Stream

Formerly known as DirecTV Now, AT&T TVNow and AT&T TV, this oft-renamed streaming service costs $80 per month and up after the free trial. (The package that includes NFL Network costs $99 per month.)

Fubo TV

This sports-focused cable TV service offers TV channels in most markets. There is a seven-day free trial, after which there are monthly fees of $80 and up, depending on the channels you choose.

Can I watch NFL games on Amazon?

Not today. However, Amazon is once again the home of Thursday Night Football, with the exception of Thanksgiving (though it will air a game on Black Friday). The first matchup on Amazon this year will be the New England Patriots vs. New York Jets on September 19.

Does the NFL offer special broadcast packages that allow me to watch the games I want to see?

Three, to be exact.

NFL-App

The NFL-App allows you to stream games that are broadcast locally in your market on Sundays. If you want to watch a game “outside your market,” you have two options.

NFL+

Watch local and away games live and (with the Premium subscription) replays. Expect to pay a $50 fee per season. ($100 for Premium.)

NFL Sunday Ticket

YouTube is once again the home of this channel, with prices starting at $73 per month this year for Sunday Ticket and YouTubeTV, or $449 for Sunday Ticket only (for all non-market games this season).
