After a very quiet start that included fourth down stops, penalties and a blocked punt, the San Francisco 49ers offense woke up late in the second quarter after a crucial interception by Fred Warner on Sunday in Minnesota.

With the Vikings leading 10-0, Brock Purdy helped orchestrate a downfield charge that gave the 49ers their first score of the game. Warner's interception gave the 49ers solid field position to begin their attack.

After a long pass from Purdy to Deebo Samuel, Jordan Mason hammered the ball across the field, setting up the first try and goal for the 49ers.

On the second and decisive attempt, Purdy threw a short pass to George Kittle, who scored a seven-yard touchdown.

In the first half against the Vikings, Kittle led the 49ers with five pass catches for 56 yards and a touchdown.
