Mindy Kaling reveals why she isn't celebrating her daughter's milestone

Mindy Kaling is not celebrating any milestone in the life of her little daughter Anne.

Kaling recently announced that her daughter has begun her first attempts at crawling, but the actress isn't ready to chase after a crawling baby just yet.

The office The star attended the Tory Burch show at New York Fashion Week on Monday and told People: “My baby can't crawl yet, but she's trying. She's going full throttle. She's immobile, but she's dying to go.”

She also revealed how she feels about this milestone: “And I say, 'No, not yet!' I like that she can't move as much. It's nice and easier to watch her.”

Kaling is also mother to 6-year-old daughter Katherine Swati and 4-year-old son Spencer Avu.

The Mindy Project The star also spoke about her struggles with makeup now that she is a mother herself.

“I don't wear lip gloss anymore because it gets too much into my hair when I'm in a hurry with kids, for example – it just smears everywhere,” she said.

“So lately I've been using some kind of lip balm,” she said.

When asked if she would bring her children to future events, Mindy Kaling replied, “You know, I think right now only my oldest can appreciate it. My son is more into trucks. So if Tory isn't into a trucks collaboration, I don't think he's going to like it.”
